Pair of gorgeous Ginbari Yellow Cloisonne Enameled Vases. They portray a green and brown finch on prunus blossoms ( commonly referred to as Plum blossoms. ) Ginbari is a type of  Japanese Cloisonne using slightly tinted clear enamel over a highly detailed foil base. In superb condition, no scratches, knicks, cracks or blemishes to enamel.

Marked CPO within a diamond  meaning Central Purchasing Office. This marking indicates items sold on the U.S. Army and Navy Bases in Japan.  However. Tentative date is the 1940s.
