Lithophane Snowflake Tea Pot – Signed

This is a lovely hand painted tea pot with a lithophane snowflake pattern (made by putting rice grains in the porcelain and then firing them in the kiln, the rice burns away and leaves decorative holes that are filled with glaze). The patterns really show up when you look through them at the light. These are white porcelain with hand painted blue designs. The bowl is marked China on the bottom. The bowl measures 4.5″ high and 8″from spout to handle.
