Peacock plate by Heinrich H & C 

This is a classy German Heinrich H & C Selb Bavaria hand painted peacock plate in Excellent condition. It measures 8″ in diameter and is hand painted depicting  a magnificent peacock perched on a branch in the center , with his amazing tail of feathers hanging downward. The plate has a 1.5″ light blue border with hand painted gold trim.  The design and colours are vivid and beautiful. The porcelain mark was used from 1940.In very good condition, no chips or cracks. This plate was given as a gift previously apparently as the reverse shows.
