Ogden Lane is an elegant, stylish Boutique and Gallery ( http://www.ogdenlane.com ). We bring our members a spectacular, hand-picked selection of Unique and Treasured Antiques and Vintage Collectables from the life of the late Alfred Hudson or “Floyd.” While Floyd began selecting and collecting each piece individually while he was stationed overseas during World War I, he collected and acquired pieces until his very last day with us. He would often say he someday wanted had aspirations of opening a store to share these treasures from his lifetime with people, he was just unable to bear parting with anything as he thoroughly loved each item he selected. Ogden Lane has been created in his memory to share his treasures with the public as he always wanted.
The name Ogden Lane came about as it’s the street they lived on, so it was only fitting. Ogden Lane came about as a way for me to prevent my house from being foreclosed on after financial problems began as a result of becoming disabled in a car accident. Being unable to work, or even walk at first bills quickly piled up. Then I lost my job ( where I made a great living ) and everything went down hill. Luckily I remembered Floyd’s entire estate was still in storage and unknowing what treasures were hidden, began to un box everything hoping to find an answer. Thus Ogden Lane was born.
